Jakarta, 14 March 2026 — Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung inaugurated Taman Bendera Pusaka in the Kebayoran Baru area of South Jakarta on Saturday.

The park inauguration was also attended by Indonesia’s fifth president, Megawati Soekarnoputri.

Taman Bendera Pusaka represents the integration of three parks located in the Blok M area: Taman Ayodya, Taman Langsat, and Taman Leuser.

Pramono stated that the integration of the three parks was undertaken to expand open green space whilst providing a new recreational destination for the community.

“Alhamdulillah, Taman Bendera Pusaka can now be utilised by the public,” Pramono said in his remarks on Saturday.

The three parks are now connected via a bridge featuring red-and-white motifs that serves as an iconic feature of the area. In addition to the connecting bridge, a tunnel is also available to allow visitors to move conveniently between different park areas.

Various sporting facilities have been provided within the park. These include padel courts described as premium facilities, a 1.2-kilometre jogging track, and a multi-purpose court suitable for basketball, tennis, and badminton.

“Thus, as we can see here now, I hope this becomes one of the choices for residents to engage in sports,” Pramono said.

To ensure the safety and comfort of visitors, the government has equipped the park area with surveillance cameras and security personnel who will patrol regularly.
