Jakarta (ANTARA) - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has officially inaugurated 117 Hajj Service Officers (PPIH) for DKI Jakarta Province for the year 1447 Hijriah/2026 CE at the Grand Hall.

The 117 Hajj officers will be divided into 19 flight groups (kloter) to accompany 7,819 Hajj pilgrims.

“You are the chosen individuals entrusted with the noble duty to serve the Hajj pilgrims. You now bear a great responsibility to provide the best service to the pilgrims,” Pramono stated in his speech at City Hall on Thursday.

Pramono also reminded the Hajj officers that they will face various situations in the field, including responding to emergency conditions.

To that end, he urged the officers to maintain their physical and mental health so they can carry out their duties optimally.

“This is not merely an assignment, but a call to devotion. Serve the pilgrims with heart, not just because of obligation or supervision,” said Pramono.

For information, the 19 kloter for DKI Jakarta Province are divided into two departure waves, namely seven kloter in the first wave and 12 kloter in the second wave.

The details of the officers include 41 Regional Hajj Officers (PHD) for general services, 17 health personnel, 19 Indonesian Hajj Guides (TPHI), 19 Indonesian Hajj Worship Supervisors (TPIHI), and 38 Indonesian Hajj Health Personnel (TKHI) consisting of 19 doctors and 19 nurses.
