Pramono Details Jakarta's Regional Budget, Urges Against Year-End Project Backlog
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s revenue reached Rp 29.29 trillion in the second quarter of 2026. He noted that this figure is equivalent to 40 per cent of this year’s regional revenue target. “Realisation in the second quarter, up to 30 June, saw regional revenue at Rp 29.29 trillion, or 40 per cent of the target,” Pramono said during the ‘Jakarta Budget Talks’ event at City Hall on Wednesday (22/7/2026). Pramono explained that Jakarta’s budget was set at Rp 81.32 trillion in the 2026 Regional Budget (APBD). Up to the end of June, he noted, regional expenditure realisation was recorded at Rp 24.73 trillion, or 33 per cent of the spending ceiling of Rp 74.28 trillion. Meanwhile, regional financing receipts stood at Rp 5.82 trillion, or 58.92 per cent of the Rp 9.88 trillion target. Financing expenditure was realised at Rp 574.9 billion, or 8.17 per cent of the Rp 7.04 trillion ceiling. Pramono said that 118,161 procurement packages had been completed in the first half of the year. He urged all municipal agencies to accelerate spending to avoid a backlog at the end of the budget year. “I have asked City Hall officials not to let things pile up as they did in the past at the end of the year, in November and December. Because it is already July, I am asking for this to be done now,” he said. He also thanked residents for paying their taxes and guaranteed that all funds entering the regional treasury would be managed transparently.
