Pramono Considers Special Tariff for Transjabodetabek Service to Soetta Airport, Different from Transjakarta
Jakarta, 10 March 2026 – Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung is considering implementing a special fare for the Transjabodetabek service on the Blok M route to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The fare for this route is likely to differ from standard Transjakarta fares.
“Regarding the ticket price, I haven’t decided yet, but there will be one. Until Eid al-Fitr, it will be the same as what currently exists,” Pramono said at Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
For the time being until the Eid al-Fitr celebration, the fare will be aligned with Transjakarta pricing at Rp3,500.
The Blok M-Soetta Airport route will be officially inaugurated on Thursday, 12 March 2026 at approximately 09:00 Western Indonesia Time.
The potential fare difference is being considered due to several transit stops along the route to the airport that add to operational cost components.
“Since there are three stops on the way to the airport that also have costs associated with them. But when the time comes, we will decide,” said Pramono.
Although the official fare has not yet been set, Pramono assured that travel costs using the Transjabodetabek service to the airport will remain more affordable compared to other modes of transport.
In this way, the public will be more inclined to use public transport rather than private vehicles, which are more expensive.
