Pramono Appreciates Cabinet Secretary's Assistance in LRT Inauguration Preparations

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung expressed his gratitude to Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya for providing extensive assistance in the preparations for the inauguration of the Jakarta Light Rail Transit (LRT) Kelapa Gading-Manggarai line at Manggarai Station, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

In his remarks, Pramono greeted each guest present at the inauguration, including President Prabowo Subianto and members of the Red and White Cabinet.

While addressing Cabinet Secretary Teddy, he did not fail to express his thanks, noting that the inauguration preparations had proceeded smoothly.

Earlier, President Prabowo arrived at the Kelapa Gading LRT Station on Wednesday to test the facilities and officially inaugurate the operation of the Kelapa Gading-Manggarai LRT route.

The President arrived at the station at approximately 1:00 PM WIB and was greeted by several junior high school students who had been waiting for his arrival.

The President then boarded the LRT train alongside his entourage, seated in the LRT carriage accompanied by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung and two junior high school students.

The Kelapa Gading-Manggarai LRT is part of the Jakarta LRT Phase 1B development, featuring a track length of approximately 12.2 kilometres. The construction of the line has been completed and has entered the testing phase prior to being opened for public operation.
