Pramono Anung Appoints Head of Transportation as South Jakarta Mayor
Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has overhauled the ranks of officials within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. On Wednesday, 15 April 2026, Pramono inaugurated eleven High-Level Primary Leadership Officials or Echelon II at Jakarta City Hall.
According to Pramono, this inauguration is an effort to strengthen the bureaucracy. “In particular, I would like to congratulate the brothers and sisters who have just been inaugurated, and this is a great responsibility,” Pramono said during the inauguration, quoted from a written statement.
This PDI Perjuangan politician claimed that the appointment of the new officials had undergone a thorough consideration process over three weeks, prioritising a talent management system. “We communicated and discussed to determine the names earlier and then used talent management because this is the authority of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province,” he stated.
Pramono has reshuffled his ranks through this inauguration. For example, the Head of the Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, has been transferred to become the Mayor of South Jakarta. Syafrin has held the position of Head of Transportation for DKI Jakarta for seven years since the era of former governor Anies Baswedan.
Budi Awaludin, previously the Head of the Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency, has become the Head of the Transportation Agency, replacing Syafrin. In addition, the Head of the Environmental Agency, Asep Kuswanto, has also been moved to become the Assistant Deputy Governor of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for Spatial Planning.

Tona Hutauruk as Head of the Regional Cooperation Bureau of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Secretariat
Purwanti Suryandari as Deputy Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Environmental Agency
Asep Kuswanto as Assistant Deputy Governor of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for Spatial Planning
Ali Murthadho as Deputy Mayor of the West Jakarta Administrative City
Firmanudin as Deputy Mayor of the South Jakarta Administrative City, and
Imron as Secretary of the West Jakarta Administrative City.
