Pramono and Cak Imin Attend Betawi Ulama and Habaib Haul at Monas

The Jakarta Provincial Government held the 2026 Haul Ulama dan Habaib Betawi at the South Plaza of Monas, Central Jakarta, on Friday evening. Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, known as Cak Imin, and Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung were in attendance. Pramono Anung was seen walking alongside Deputy Governor Rano Karno. Habib Syech bin Abdul Qodir Assegaf led the selawat recitation with the congregation. Cak Imin arrived shortly after, wearing a white baju koko and a black peci. The Haul Ulama dan Habaib Betawi 2026 was attended by prominent figures, ulama, and habaib from Jakarta, with the public also filling the event area at Monas. The event is part of the 499th anniversary celebrations of Jakarta and was held to honour the Betawi ulama and habaib for their significant contributions to dakwah, religious education, and the social development of Jakarta’s community. The event carried the theme of strengthening religious harmony amidst diversity, in line with Jakarta’s transformation into a global city.
