Pramono Allocates Rp 50 Billion for Jakarta Pavilion Revitalisation at TMII
The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI Jakarta) has prepared a budget of Rp 50 billion for the revitalisation of the Jakarta Pavilion at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). The funding is sourced from KLB (Kompensasi Lantai Bangunan, or Building Floor Compensation) levies and does not draw upon the regional budget (APBD).
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the revitalisation is being carried out in preparation for the 500th anniversary of Jakarta.
“For the Jakarta Pavilion at Taman Mini, in preparation for Jakarta’s 500th anniversary, we have approved the revitalisation using KLB funds. The first allocation is worth Rp 25 billion,” Pramono said at Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday (24/2/2026).
“The following year, a further allocation of approximately the same amount, Rp 25 billion, will be provided,” he added.
Pramono emphasised that all financing comes from KLB funds, meaning it does not burden Jakarta’s Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
“All the funds are from KLB, so no APBD funding is used,” he said.
The revitalisation of the Jakarta Pavilion is expected to strengthen the identity and cultural representation of Betawi heritage within the TMII precinct, whilst also forming part of the broader preparations for the commemoration of Jakarta’s five centuries of history.
