Pramono accompanies Vice President in inspecting MRT construction in Harmoni
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo accompanied Vice President (Vice President) Gibran Rakabuming Raka to inspect the MRT project construction process in the Harmoni area, Jakarta. During the inspection, Pramono said the Vice President was quite satisfied with the MRT project’s development, which was assessed to show positive progress. “Overall, he expressed joy and satisfaction because he had seen it before. The progress is quite good, and especially the tunnel is neat,” Pramono said at City Hall, Jakarta, on Tuesday. Pramono said the work process was carried out by Indonesian sons and daughters, thus showing that Indonesian human resources (HR) are capable of carrying out the construction well. “The most important thing is that the quality must be maintained,” Pramono said. Meanwhile, PT MRT Jakarta President Director Tuhiyat stated that the MRT construction process from Bundaran HI to Kota is now 60% complete as of the end of April 2026. Whereas, for Bundaran HI to Harmoni, the progress has reached 92.5%. “Hopefully, by the end of this year, it will approach 100% for Bundaran HI to Harmoni,” Tuhiyat said. For Harmoni to Mangga Besar, he revealed that the current progress is only 64% because it was once hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic. Then, for Mangga Besar to Kota, Tuhiyat said the construction process has reached 84%.
