The reverse journey follows the same stops, ending at Yogyakarta Tugu Station. The fare is Rp 8,000 per passenger for a single trip. Passengers can book tickets via the Access by KAI app or tap in and out at Prameks gates using a Multi Trip Card (KMT), e-money, or by scanning a QR code from a payment app. For the week of 15–21 June 2026, the schedule from Yogyakarta to Kutoarjo includes departures at 06:00, 11:50, 15:15, 16:20, and 18:05 WIB, with corresponding arrivals at 07:42, 12:49, 16:16, 17:20, and 19:03 WIB. A booking confirmation then grants access at the station gate. Passengers opting to travel without a prior booking can go directly to the Prameks gate at Yogyakarta Tugu or Kutoarjo Station, where staff are available to assist. They should prepare a KMT, bank e-money card, or GoTransit barcode, tap in at the gate, and wait in the designated area if the train has not yet arrived. Upon reaching the destination, passengers must tap out to exit the station. As the service enforces a passenger quota, those using direct tap-in are advised to arrive early.
