Pram: WFH Policy Does Not Apply to Satpol PP and Gulkarmat in DKI
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that several agencies related to public services will not be subject to the work-from-home (WFH) policy every Friday. “Middle-level and entry-level officials, as well as those involved in public services such as Satpol PP, the Transportation Department, Health, and Gulkarmat (fire brigade) will continue to carry out their duties as usual,” Pramono said at Jakarta City Hall on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the WFH policy for Civil Servants (ASN) will be applied to administrative work. Pramono said his side will regulate the proportion of ASN working from home with a specific scheme. According to him, there is no definite limit from the central government, so the DKI Provincial Government sets the WFH range between 25 and 50 percent. “The minimum is 25 percent up to 50 percent; within that range, it will be regulated. Work from home will be prepared by Mr. Secretary General together with the Head of BKD, and there will be a Governor’s decree for it,” Pramono explained. Even when working from home, he ensured that ASN must still carry out attendance. The attendance system will be done via mobile using devices already owned by the DKI Provincial Government. Supervision of ASN will also be carried out strictly by the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD). ASN who violate WFH rules will be subject to firm sanctions.
