Pram has signed circular on implementation of WFH for DKI civil servants every Friday
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has confirmed that he has signed Circular (SE) No. 3/SE/2026 on the implementation of work-from-home (WFH) rules for civil servants every Friday. The circular specifies that the proportion of ASN employees eligible for WFH should be at least 25 per cent or at most 50 per cent of the total ASN in the smallest work unit, such as subfields, subsections, sections, subgroups, or work units, applied selectively based on the characteristics of tasks and types of work in each unit. “For Work From Home or Work From Everywhere, actually, as Governor, I have already signed the circular. So for each regional government device organisation (OPD), the range is between 25 and 50 per cent who will work from home,” Pramono explained at Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday. The circular also states that employees eligible for WFH must meet certain criteria, namely not currently undergoing or in the process of disciplinary punishment, and/or having more than two years of service. Employees conducting WFH are required to report their attendance online through the mobile attendance application twice, at 06:00-08:00 WIB and 16:00-18:00 WIB. Pramono said that his office will continue to monitor ASN employees undertaking WFH using a system currently being developed. This is to ensure that ASN productivity within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government remains well-maintained. ASN employees who fail to comply with the applicable regulations will face sanctions, such as being prohibited from WFH and/or disciplinary sanctions in accordance with legal provisions. In addition, the circular will be evaluated periodically every two months and can be adjusted at any time according to needs and/or legal provisions.
