A major transaction has occurred in the stock market. Shareholder of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), Green Era Energy Pte Ltd, has offloaded shares worth Rp1.58 trillion on the market.

This step was taken shortly after BREN shares were included in the high shareholder concentration (HSC) list, indicating high ownership by a limited number of parties. This condition necessitates adjustments to the ownership structure.

In the transaction, 350 million shares were released to the public. According to the disclosure, the sale occurred on 6 April 2026 at a price of Rp4,510 per share.

This corporate action also serves as an effort to increase the number of publicly circulating shares, thereby enhancing the liquidity of BREN share trading.

“The purpose of this transaction is to increase the free float portion and share liquidity in the market,” as quoted from the IDX disclosure.

Prior to the transaction, Green Era Energy Pte Ltd held 30.67 billion shares, equivalent to 22.9271% of the total circulating shares. After the transaction, its ownership decreased to 30.32 billion shares.

For information, Green Era Energy is a company owned by Prajogo Pangestu’s daughter, Nancy Pangestu. Since the beginning of the year, Green Era has conducted several divestments of BREN shares.

Previously, BREN was known to be one of the stocks with high concentrated shareholder ownership or HSC. In simple terms, HSC-listed shares are those held by the same people or parties, not owned by many investors like typical shares.

This data can be used as an early warning for investors in making investment decisions, without disrupting the ongoing market mechanisms.

The HSC data is compiled based on the methodology for determining high concentrated share ownership, covering shares in certificate and uncertificated form, with positions as of 31 March 2026.

Based on the published data, there are nine issuers with ownership concentration levels above 95%. The top position is held by PT Rockfields Properti Indonesia Tbk (ROCK) with an ownership level of 99.85%, followed by PT Ifishdeco Tbk (IFSH) at 99.77% and PT Satria Mega Kencana Tbk (SOTS) at 98.35%.

Next, PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII) recorded an ownership concentration of 97.75%, followed by PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) at 97.31%. Other issuers in this list include PT Panca Anugrah Wisesa Tbk (MGLV), PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), PT Lima Dua Lima Tiga Tbk (LUCY), and PT Abadi Lestari Indonesia Tbk (RLCO), with ownership levels above 95%.
