Prajogo Pangestu's CDIA to Acquire AMP Stake for Rp 1.4 Trillion
Jakarta — PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDIA), a company owned by Prajogo Pangestu, through its subsidiary PT Chandra Shipping International (CSI), plans to acquire a 40% stake in PT Armada Maritim Persada (AMP). The investment is valued at US$90 million, or approximately Rp 1.4 trillion.
According to a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the transaction will be carried out through the acquisition of new shares to be issued by PT AMP, a company engaged in the domestic port business. On 30 June 2026, PT CSI, together with PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (PJK) and PT Armada Maritim Persada, signed a Conditional Agreement for the share acquisition.
Upon completion of the transaction and fulfilment of all preliminary requirements, PT CSI will hold a 40% stake in PT AMP. The investment is intended to support the growth and business development plans of PT AMP. Management believes this investment will provide economic benefits to the Chandra Daya Investasi Group through potential value appreciation and future dividend income from its ownership in PT AMP.
The company also disclosed that the transaction is an affiliated transaction, as there is an affiliation between PT CSI and PT AMP in terms of the ultimate beneficial owner. Following the news, CDIA shares rose 0.83% to Rp 610 at the close of trading on Friday, 3 June 2026, with a market capitalisation of Rp 76.15 trillion.
