Pradi Supriatna Appreciates Police Service and Support for National Priority Programmes

West Java DPRD Commission I member from the Gerindra faction, Pradi Supriatna, attended the 80th Bhayangkara Day ceremony held at Nagara Janottama Field, Brimob Satlat Polda West Java, Cikeas, Bogor Regency, on Wednesday (1/7/2026). The ceremony, themed ‘80 Years of Service, Police for the Community’, was led directly by President Prabowo Subianto as the inspector of the ceremony and was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, TNI-Polri leadership, and a number of state and regional officials. Pradi admitted he was enthusiastic about participating in the series of activities, especially when listening to President Prabowo’s mandate. According to him, the President’s speech delivered a strong message about the importance of state apparatus service to the community, while strengthening the synergy of all elements of the nation in realising a more advanced and sovereign Indonesia. ‘I was very enthusiastic listening to President Prabowo’s direction. Many important messages were conveyed regarding service to the people, strengthening national sovereignty, and the importance of collaboration among all state institutions in facing various future challenges,’ said Pradi. Pradi also expressed appreciation to the National Police, who have not only carried out their main duties in maintaining public security and order and law enforcement, but also actively supported various strategic government programmes. According to him, the police’s involvement in supporting food security and self-sufficiency programmes shows that the police institution has an increasingly broad role in helping accelerate national development. ‘Today, the National Police are not only present in the aspects of law enforcement and public service, but also contribute to realising food self-sufficiency. This is a tangible form of support for the national development agenda,’ he said. Pradi assessed that the police’s step in supporting the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme deserves appreciation. This programme is one of the national priorities expected to improve the quality of Indonesia’s human resources from an early age. ‘The National Police’s support for the MBG programme is an important part of making the national priority programme initiated by the government a success. Synergy like this needs to continue to be strengthened so that the benefits can be felt directly by the community,’ he said. He hopes that at the age of 80, the National Police will become more professional, humanist, and closer to the community. In addition, the police are expected to continue improving the quality of public services and maintaining public trust as an institution that is at the forefront of maintaining national security and order.
