PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI, in collaboration with PT Pegadaian, introduces a gold instalment feature through the BRImo super app, making it easier for the public to start investing in gold practically directly from the application. Through this feature, customers can instal gold starting from 0.5 grams with a practical and easily accessible process.
As part of the strategy to expand gold investment inclusion in society, BRI enhances the gold instalment feature with an attractive programme designed to encourage customer participation.
During the period from 1 April to 31 May 2026, BRI presents a gold instalment programme with cashback in the form of Gold Savings balance worth Rp200,000 for customers who make a minimum 1-gram gold instalment transaction via BRImo.
This programme applies to the five fastest customers each day, with a total quota of 305 customers during the programme period. Transactions are valid starting at 08:00 WIB, and cashback will be given within a maximum of 30 working days after the programme ends.
The gold instalment feature on BRImo comes with various advantages that provide convenience and certainty for customers, from fixed instalments even if gold prices rise, a light down payment starting from 15%, to guaranteed 24-karat certified gold.
In addition, the owned gold can easily be liquidated by selling or pawning it, supported by flexible tenor options from 3 to 36 months. There are also various gold products such as Galeri 24, Lotus, UBS, and Antam. Customers can start instalments from 0.5 grams, with physical gold security guaranteed by storage at Pegadaian and supervised by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and can be collected at chosen Pegadaian branches after instalments are complete.
The gold instalment application process via BRImo takes only 45-60 seconds, very simple, straightforward, and integrated into the app. Customers simply log in to BRImo, select the investment menu and gold instalment feature, then fill in personal data, choose the type and amount of gold, and select the desired tenor and down payment. Next, the system will display the instalment scheme before the customer confirms the transaction after agreeing to the applicable terms and conditions.
BRI’s Director of Information Technology, Saladin D Effendi, stated that the presence of the gold instalment feature on BRImo is part of BRI’s efforts to provide digital financial services relevant to customer needs.
