President Prabowo Subianto's special assistant, Dirgayuza Setiawan, has turned the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) menu book produced by the National Police's Food Supply Centre (SPPG Polri) into a diplomatic instrument during his time in Washington DC. The book, titled 'Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara', co-authored by Dirgayuza and Deputy National Police Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, has been printed in an English-language edition under the title 'Menu for Indonesia's Free Nutritious Meals'.

The book was presented by Dirgayuza to Indonesia's Ambassador to the United States, Dwisuryo Indroyono Soesilo. It is intended to serve as an instrument of cultural diplomacy for President Prabowo Subianto.

"The Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara book has now become part of Indonesia's cultural diplomacy, introducing the wisdom of our culture through the most monumental programme of President Prabowo's administration," said Dirgayuza, as quoted from a written statement on Friday (20 February 2026).

According to Dirgayuza, the book not only presents an overview of President Prabowo's priority programme but also portrays Indonesian culture through its diverse regional cuisines, social welfare initiatives, and the development of Indonesia's human resources on the global stage.

Commissioner General Dedi expressed gratitude that the 'Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara' book has featured at various Indonesian government diplomatic events. He expressed hope that the publication would enrich friendly nations' knowledge of the archipelago's culinary diversity and the Asta Cita programme.

"Alhamdulillah, amidst the busy schedule of the President's overseas visits, the Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara book that we compiled together has been present in strategic venues. After being introduced at the Indonesian Embassy in London, then at the prestigious World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the English-language edition is now accessible in Washington DC, United States," said Commissioner General Dedi in Jakarta.

"We hope this book will serve as a medium for Indonesian diplomacy, whilst further promoting the gastronomy and culinary diversity of the archipelago as well as the President's Asta Cita programme to the world," he added.

It is noted that on 21 January 2026, Dirgayuza presented the book to Indonesia's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Desra Percaya, in London. The book was also exhibited at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday 22 January.

Commissioner General Dedi explained that the 'Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara' book represents the National Police's full commitment to supporting the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme managed by the police.
