Prabowo's May Day Gift: Ratification of ILO Convention 188 and Online Driver Regulation

We will also assist them with vessels,” said Prabowo. Another gift prepared by Prabowo for the May Day moment is the regulation on online transport protection. One of its benefits is that drivers will receive BPJS Health coverage. “We are also regulating this; I have signed Presidential Regulation No. 27 of 2026 on the Protection of Online Transport Workers. As I mentioned earlier, they must be provided with work accident insurance, BPJS Health, health insurance, and also the revenue sharing, which was previously 80% for drivers, is now a minimum of 92% for drivers,” said Prabowo.
