Prabowo's 7th Cabinet Reshuffle: Pratikno Removed, Listyo Sigit Promoted
Jakarta — President Prabowo Subert Subianto has once again reshuffled the Red and White Cabinet. This seventh reshuffle of his administration took place at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon (1/10).
A total of eight new officials were officially inaugurated and sworn into office. The appointments were based on Presidential Decree No. 104/P/2026 regarding the dismissal and appointment of ministers and deputy ministers, as well as Presidential Decree No. 105/P/2026 regarding the dismissal and appointment of the Chief of Staff to the President and the Head of the National Agrarian Reform Agency.
The most prominent name in this reshuffle is Pratikno, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK), who has been removed from his post. He is replaced by Sugiono, who previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Changes also occurred at the helm of the Indonesian National Police. Prabowo inaugurated Suyudi Ario Seto as the new Chief of National Police, replacing Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Rather than being dismissed, Listyo Sigit has been brought into the President’s inner circle as the Chief of Staff to the President (KSP).
This marks Prabowo’s seventh reshuffle. The previous reshuffle occurred only last month, when Prabowo removed Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa from the position of Finance Minister and appointed his Deputy, Suahasil Nazara, as Finance Minister on 14 September 2026.
