Prabowo Welcomed by Coalition Party Elites Upon Arrival at PAN 28th Anniversary Event

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was welcomed by the leaders and elites of coalition parties upon his arrival at the 28th anniversary arena of the National Mandate Party (PAN) at JCC, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Friday (18/09) evening.

Prabowo arrived at approximately 19:00 WIB wearing a brown batik with blue patterns. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, who had arrived earlier, was seen participating in the welcome ceremony.

Prabowo was accompanied by the General Chairman of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan, also known as Zulhas. Additionally, the Speaker of the MPR RI and senior Gerindra politician, Ahmad Muzani, along with the Speaker of the DPD RI, Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin, were present to greet the President.

Prabowo proceeded to shake hands with the various party leaders in attendance, including the General Chairman of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar, the President of PKS Al Muzammil Yusuf, PDIP Deputy Secretary-General Utut Adianto, and Democratic Party Secretary-General Herman Khaeron.

Prabowo then took his seat, flanked by Gibran and Sultan Najamuddin.

PAN has become a strategic coalition for Prabowo within the Red and White Cabinet, maintaining a loyal partnership with him since the 2014 Presidential Election. Currently, several PAN members hold positions in the Red and White Cabinet under Prabowo’s leadership, including PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, who serves as the Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs.

In addition to Zulhas, several other PAN elites have been appointed to the cabinet, such as the Minister of Villages, Yandri Susanto, and the Minister of Transportation, Dudy Purwagandhi.

Furthermore, the deputy minister ranks include the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto, and Viva Yoga Mauladi, who has been entrusted as the Deputy Minister of Transmigration. Additionally, Zita Anjani—the daughter of Zulhas—serves as the Presidential Special Envoy for Tourism.
