According to him, this can be achieved if Indonesia continues to accelerate downstream industrialisation, which has a positive impact on the economy. “What I want to convey is that we must become a giant that does not sleep. We must become a giant that wakes up, and we will wake up. We will become a great nation, believe that, I strongly believe it,” Prabowo stated during the groundbreaking ceremony for 13 Phase II National Downstreaming Projects in Cilacap, Central Java, on Wednesday (29/4/2026), quoted from the YouTube broadcast of the Presidential Secretariat. Prabowo also expressed his hope to have a long life in order to witness that glory of Indonesia. “I want to live another thousand years because I want to see Indonesia prosperous, the Indonesian people prosperous, Indonesia respected, and proud of by other nations,” said Prabowo. In this Phase II downstreaming inauguration, there are 13 projects to be undertaken with an investment value reaching Rp 116 trillion. The projects include gas refineries, the construction of operational fuel oil (BBM) tanks, to the processing of palm oil into oleofood and biodiesel spread across various regions. “Downstreaming is the only way for us to become more prosperous,” Prabowo stated.
