Prabowo Warns Those Who Steal from the People: I Will Not Tolerate It!

President Prabowo Subianto has issued a warning to government officials against taking actions that harm the people. Prabowo delivered the warning while attending a mass harvest event in support of national resilience in Malang, East Java, on Friday afternoon.

“We must be united, all elements, especially those elected by the people, especially those paid by the people, especially the government, the bureaucracy, and state-owned enterprises,” he said.

“We do not want to tolerate those who are trusted by the people, who are paid by the people, but implement policies and actions that harm the people. Moreover, stealing the people’s money, we will not tolerate it. I will not tolerate it as a president trusted by the people. I will not hesitate,” he continued.

Prabowo also reminded all parties to believe in their own strength. He said that no other nation would take pity on Indonesia.

“For hundreds of years they came to take our wealth, and to this day there are nations that want to take our wealth and let the people remain poor. That is what we cannot accept,” Prabowo said.
