Prabowo Warns on Timely Distribution of Employee Holiday Allowances and Ojol Bonuses

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – President Prabowo Subianto has instructed the Minister of Labour and the Ministers of Finance and Investment to ensure that holiday allowances for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and private sector employees, including Holiday Bonuses for online motorcycle taxi drivers, are distributed properly and on time.

The President made this statement during a plenary Cabinet meeting at the State Palace on Friday, 13 March 2026. He also expressed gratitude that online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) are now eligible to receive holiday bonuses.

“We are also grateful that under our administration, online drivers can now receive Holiday Bonuses – thank you,” Prabowo stated.

The holiday bonuses for ojol drivers are valued at an average of 400,000 to 1.6 million rupiah per person. Prabowo requested that the government monitor the distribution limits of these bonuses.

“For the holiday bonuses for online transport sector workers, ensure that what we have determined actually reaches them – between 400,000 and 1.6 million rupiah per person,” he said.
