Prabowo Warns: I Know Who Pays for the Protests

President Prabowo Subianto attended the peak event of the 17th National Farmers and Fishermen Week in Gorontalo on Wednesday (24/6/2026). In his speech, Prabowo addressed the demonstrations that took place in several regions across the country some time ago. “Be careful. I give a warning to those people. I know who pays for the demos, I know that,” he stated. Prabowo then highlighted the ignorance of some demonstration participants regarding the protest’s objectives. “When asked, the kids didn’t understand. ‘What are you demonstrating about?’,” Prabowo revealed. “We were paid Rp 200,000. But there are some,” he continued. Furthermore, Prabowo said that Indonesia is currently like a football team. Therefore, the nation must be united. “If there is a teammate who is lacking, or our team is not performing well, we still support them. Later, when the match is over, then we make corrections,” Prabowo said.
