President Prabowo Subianto has instructed Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM and Head of the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI) Rosan Roeslani to openly convey various positive data regarding investment developments in Indonesia to the public. The directive was given when President Prabowo summoned several members of the Red and White Cabinet to his residence in Kertanegara, Jakarta, on Sunday evening (14/6).

According to information received, the meeting was also attended by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, Head of the SOE Regulatory Agency Dony Oskaria, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy explained that during the meeting, President Prabowo received a report from Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani regarding the results of his working visits to the United States and several countries in Europe and Asia. Based on the report, there are facts and data indicating increased international confidence in Indonesia. This confidence is reflected in the high interest from global investors and the inflow of investment into various strategic national sectors.

“The report shows valid facts and data on the increasing confidence of the international community towards Indonesia, which is reflected in the high interest and inflow of investment into various strategic national sectors,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy.

Following up on the report, President Prabowo stressed the importance of transparent information delivery to the public. The Head of State believes the public needs to obtain a complete and fact-based picture of the national investment conditions and Indonesia’s future economic prospects.

“The President also ordered Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani to convey this positive data to the public openly on Monday afternoon, 15 June 2026, at the Merdeka Palace, as part of the government’s commitment to providing complete and fact-based information to the community,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy.

This step underscores President Prabowo’s commitment to building open, transparent, and accountable governance, while strengthening public optimism regarding Indonesia’s investment prospects and economic growth amidst evolving global dynamics.
