Prabowo Visits SMPN 111 Jakarta to Monitor Free Nutritious Meal Programme

President Prabowo Subianto inspected the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme at State Junior High School (SMPN) 111 Jakarta on Tuesday (2/6/2026). The visit is part of the government’s efforts to ensure that this national priority programme is running smoothly and providing direct benefits to students.

Prabowo’s arrival was met with enthusiasm by students waiting within the school grounds. Cheers and warm greetings from the students accompanied the Head of State as he entered the school area. The students appeared excited to welcome the Head of State, who responded to the reception with smiles and waves.

During the inspection, Prabowo entered several classrooms to directly observe the execution of the MBG programme. The students responded enthusiastically to Prabowo’s questions, engaging in an interaction characterised by warmth and lighthearted banter, which helped create a relaxed atmosphere in the classroom.

At this school, the MBG programme provides more than just food on students’ desks; the initiative aims to foster the belief that every Indonesian child possesses the same opportunity to dream big and realise those dreams for the future of the nation.
