Prabowo Visits SMAN 1 Cilacap, Inspects School Revitalisation Implementation

Observation by detikcom revealed that Prabowo arrived at the location on Wednesday (29/4/2026) around 10:00 WIB. During this visit, Prabowo was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Minister for State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi, and Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi. Upon arriving at the school, he immediately inspected several facilities, including classrooms equipped with digital screens. Prabowo also toured the area to directly observe the teaching and learning activities. Prabowo’s presence was enthusiastically welcomed by students in the classroom. They sang the ‘Welcome’ song for Prabowo. Prabowo was seen approaching and shaking hands with the students. He even had a brief dialogue with students and teachers in the classroom. “Study well, everyone,” said Prabowo as he was about to leave the classroom. SMA Negeri 1 Cilacap has a total of 1,273 students and is one of the recipients of the revitalisation programme from the Ministry of Education with a budget of Rp1,053,562,000. The revitalisation programme was completed in 2025. The revitalisation work included replacing tiles, repairing doors in some classrooms, renovating ceilings, and repainting the buildings. In addition, the construction of toilet facilities for Year XII students covering six classrooms was carried out. With the completion of this revitalisation, it is hoped that the school’s facilities will become more adequate and able to support teaching and learning activities optimally.
