Prabowo Visits Residents' Settlement in Senen, Promises Decent Housing

President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, visited a residents’ settlement along the railway tracks in the Senen area, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (26/3). During the occasion, Prabowo was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya and Head of Prabowo’s Personal Secretariat, Rizky Irmansyah. “This afternoon, I toured the settlement along the railway tracks in the Senen area, Central Jakarta,” Prabowo wrote on his Instagram account @prabowo. In his post, Prabowo noted that the settlement he visited is located not far from the centre of Jakarta. He also stated that his visit was to absorb aspirations from the community living there. At the same time, Prabowo mentioned plans to build decent housing for the residents in the area. He is determined to provide decent housing for all Indonesian people. “We will soon build decent housing for the community in that area quickly,” he said. In the post, Prabowo directly greeted the residents there. He took the time to chat with them. In the video uploaded, Prabowo was wearing a dark blue shirt topped with a brown cap on his head. Residents welcomed Prabowo’s arrival along with Teddy and Rizky. They jostled to take selfies with him.
