Prabowo Visits Public School in Tabanan, Welcomed by Marching Band

President Prabowo Subianto inspected the Sekolah Rakyat Menengah Pertama (SRMP) 17 Tabanan in Sentra Mahatmiya, Banjar Anyar Village, Kediri District, Tabanan, Bali, today. Prabowo’s arrival was greeted by a marching band and a Kecak dance performance presented by the students of SRMP 17 Tabanan.

Since the morning, the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres) and security personnel were on high alert at SRMP 17 Tabanan on Sunday (7/6/202<0xA0>26). President Prabowo, travelling in a Maung vehicle, arrived at the location at approximately 11:30 WITA.

A number of residents appeared enthusiastic in welcoming Prabowo’s arrival. For instance, Widia, a local resident, had been waiting for Indonesia’s top leader since the morning. “I have been waiting for the President since this morning. I feel happy to see him in person, as I have only seen him on social media or television,” said Widia.

Widia learned of Prabowo’s visit through social media and local announcements. She also invited her neighbours and their children to witness the President’s presence firsthand.

According to field reports, Prabowo’s visit to SRMP 17 Tabanan was intended to inspect the school and meet with the students. Additionally, Prabowo is reportedly scheduled to visit several other locations across Bali.
