Prabowo Visits Madura to Inaugurate Infrastructure and Attend NU National Conference

President Prabowo Subianto departed for East Java Province on Tuesday (23/6/2026) for a working visit. The trip includes the inauguration of infrastructure and attendance at a national-scale religious event. President Prabowo and a limited entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta at approximately 09.00 WIB. The departure marks the start of a series of agendas scheduled to take place in a single day. Upon arrival in Sampang Regency, Madura, Prabowo will inaugurate a 1,151-kilometre stretch of roads. These roads are spread across Indonesia and form part of the implementation of the Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads (IJD). The inauguration is part of the government’s commitment to accelerating road infrastructure development to improve inter-regional connectivity. It also aims to drive regional economic growth and facilitate the distribution of goods and services.
