Prabowo Visits France, Fadli Zon Highlights Strong Bilateral Relations

JAKARTA – Culture Minister Fadli Zon commented on President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to Paris, France. Fadli stated that Indonesia and France maintain a strong and mutually beneficial relationship. “I believe our relations are currently positive and mutually advantageous, with excellent cooperation across various sectors. Our strategic partnerships with all nations are very strong,” Fadli said at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta on Wednesday, 27 May 2026. “This pertains to both bilateral relations and the geopolitical context,” he added.

Prabowo has embarked on another official visit to France. He arrived at Orly Airport in Paris around 10:00 local time (15:00 WIB) after a 16-hour flight. This marks his fourth visit to France. The working visit aims to strengthen the Indonesia-France Strategic Partnership, which continues to develop through heightened diplomatic engagement and the closeness between the two presidents.
