Prabowo Visits Bali, Police Implement Traffic Management
President Prabowo Subianto attended the launch and groundbreaking of a Solar Power Plant project in Gilimanuk, Jembrana. The Bali Regional Police prepared traffic management measures to ensure the smooth passage of the presidential entourage to the location. Traffic management and road closures were carried out situationally at pre-mapped points.
Head of Operations Bureau of Bali Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Soelistijono, appealed to the people of Jembrana to support the smooth running of the president’s agenda in West Bali. ‘Together we maintain a conducive security and public order situation during President Prabowo Subianto’s working visit,’ he urged.
In addition to implementing traffic management, the police also ensured personnel readiness. Hundreds of personnel were assigned to secure Prabowo’s working visit. Security was carried out through Operation Puri Agung. A readiness roll call for Operation Puri Agung security was held by the Bali Regional Police to ensure personnel readiness. Hundreds of personnel were prepared for the smooth running of the operation.
Soelistijono explained that presidential security would be carried out in three rings. Security coordination was also carried out with the Presidential Security Force and the Indonesian National Armed Forces. He advised the troops that the task of securing the president must be carried out with responsibility. ‘Securing the President’s visit is an honourable task that must be carried out with a full sense of responsibility. We implement layered security that synergises closely with elements of the Presidential Security Force and the Indonesian National Armed Forces,’ Soelistijono stated.
Tabanan Police also prepared troops for Prabowo’s security. Tabanan Police secured the departure route towards Jembrana. Tabanan Police Chief, I Putu Bayu Pati, led a readiness roll call for securing the route of the President of the Republic of Indonesia’s working visit. The roll call was held at the Tathya Dharaka Parade Ground of Tabanan Police.
‘Personnel who have received assignment letters are asked to immediately re-check their positions and duties. Meanwhile, personnel who have not received them should remain on standby at the police headquarters to anticipate security needs at any time,’ Bayu Pati requested.
Bayu Pati emphasised the importance of personnel alertness and precision in occupying their respective plots. He also reminded personnel to maximise the use of communication equipment and improve coordination during the execution of duties. Bayu Pati also asked all personnel to continue monitoring the situation and anticipate possible changes to the agenda or movements heading towards the jurisdiction of Tabanan Police.
‘Carry out duties according to the plot with full responsibility, maintain discipline and alertness, and coordinate if there is a change in the situation,’ Bayu Pati stressed.
For information, Prabowo and his entourage carried out a visit to Bali on 25-26 August. The main agenda on Tuesday (25/8/2026) was attending the groundbreaking for the construction of the West Bali Solar Power Plant in Gilimanuk Village, Melaya District. The inauguration of the 100 Gigawatt peak solar power plant will be carried out at the Java-Bali Sea Crossing Operation Monument, Gilimanuk. The president’s presence was confirmed by Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, in Jakarta.
