Prabowo urges society to strengthen unity during Eid al-Fitr 1447 H

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto conveyed Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah greetings to all Indonesian society, while inviting them to make the moment of victory an opportunity to strengthen national unity. In his message, Prabowo began with gratitude for the Muslim ummah being reunited with Eid al-Fitr. He also extended greetings on behalf of himself, his family, and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. “Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah. Mohon maaf lahir dan batin. Let us utilise this Eid al-Fitr moment to forgive one another, strengthen our relationships, and bolster unity as one nation amid the various challenges we face,” said Prabowo via a YouTube upload from the Presidential Secretariat, quoted in Jakarta on Friday. The President invited all society to use Eid al-Fitr as a momentum for mutual forgiveness and strengthening ties. According to him, togetherness and unity are key in facing the nation’s future challenges. Prabowo also stressed the importance of maintaining the spirit of gotong royong as one big Indonesian family. He invited all elements of society to continue working hard in building a more just, prosperous, and strong nation. “Let us continue to strengthen our togetherness as one big Indonesian family. Let us work harder, help one another, and together build a more just, more prosperous, stronger Indonesia,” said Prabowo. At the end of his message, Prabowo hoped that all the deeds of worship by society during Ramadan would be accepted by Allah SWT, and that the Indonesian nation would always receive an outpouring of mercy and blessings.
