Prabowo Urges KADIN to Strengthen Synergy for National Development

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has invited the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) to strengthen synergy with the government, asserting that collaboration is the key to the nation’s developmental success. During a meeting with approximately 150 KADIN entrepreneurs at the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday, the President expressed his appreciation for the business community’s commitment, noting their willingness to cooperate for the interests of the nation since the beginning of his administration.

“I am very grateful and very pleased that, from the start of the administration I lead, you have shown the intention to work together and fight alongside us for the good of the entire nation and country,” said Prabowo.

According to the President, nation-building is a long-term process that requires the involvement of all sectors of society, as it encompasses not only economic aspects but also politics, culture, and religion. Prabowo emphasised that history shows successful nations are those where the elites are capable of working together and building collaboration.

“All successful nations have elites that can cooperate. All failing nations have elites that are constantly in conflict,” he stated. He added that the term ‘elites’ encompasses political, economic, intellectual, religious, cultural, and artistic leaders, as well as business actors and the working class.

As an example of successful collaboration, the President highlighted achievements in food security and food self-sufficiency, which he believes were attained in a relatively short period, strengthening Indonesia’s confidence in guaranteeing the food needs of the population amidst global uncertainty.
