He conveyed this while attending the 35th Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Congress in Jombang, East Java, on Thursday. “Trust me, in a few years Indonesia will rise remarkably, and nothing will be able to stop us,” Prabowo said. President Prabowo stated that Indonesia is currently facing a number of major challenges, including the impact of the El Nino climate phenomenon, influenced by its geographical condition as an archipelagic country. Nevertheless, Indonesia also possesses abundant natural resources and energy potential that serve as strong capital for the nation’s resurgence. He outlined a number of achievements already accomplished, including successfully achieving food self-sufficiency within two years. Indonesia is also currently moving towards energy independence to reduce dependence on imported fuel oil.
