Prabowo Travels to Jordan Following England Visit
President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Amman, Jordan, on Tuesday evening, 24 February 2026, local time. The Head of State is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein. As reported by Antara, the meeting between Prabowo and the King of Jordan will take place at the Al Husseiniya Palace on Wednesday afternoon, 25 February 2026. During his visit to Amman, Prabowo is accompanied by Foreign Minister Sugiono, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. Lulu, a student at the University of Jordan, said that she and her colleagues had been looking forward to this moment. She claimed that Prabowo’s presence brought special joy to the students studying abroad. “We are all happy about his arrival and also very proud to be able to come to Jordan,” said Lulu, quoted from an official statement from the Presidential Secretariat, Wednesday, 25 February 2026. Lulu said that Prabowo had taken the time to encourage the students. “He happened to give us encouragement, to all of us who are studying in Jordan, and he also encouraged us,” she said. After completing all the activities on his visit to Amman, President Prabowo is scheduled to leave Jordan on Wednesday afternoon. Before this visit to Jordan, Prabowo had just visited London, England.
