President Prabowo Subianto has reminded young officers of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) to maintain their integrity. He conveyed this message during the Prasetya Perwira (Praspa) ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/7). ‘Integrity is the honour of an officer. Never abuse your position, never be tempted by corruption or misconduct,’ Prabowo stated. He emphasised that the TNI and Polri are vital institutions for the nation and state. He also urged all young officers to work professionally and serve the people. ‘Never compromise with drugs, gambling, or other legal violations. The moment you betray the people, you lose your honour,’ he said. On this day, Prabowo inaugurated 1,177 graduates from military and police academies as TNI and Polri officers during the Prasetya Perwira ceremony. The cohort comprised 512 officers from the Military Academy, 229 from the Naval Academy, 154 from the Air Force Academy, and 282 from the Police Academy. Prabowo also presented the Adhi Makayasa award to the top graduates from each academy. The recipients were Calvin Tidar Sakti (Military Academy), Muhammad Rizqi Wira Utama Baihaqi Putra (Naval Academy), Yehezkiel Bonaventura Yudaniarman (Air Force Academy), and Harindra Arsandho Tegarbaja (Police Academy).
