Prabowo to Visit Regional Hospital in Krui, Lampung Tomorrow

President Prabowo Subianto intends to inspect a regional public hospital (RSUD) in Krui, West Pesisir Regency, Lampung. The visit is scheduled for tomorrow.

This was conveyed by Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin on Tuesday (9/6/2026). Budi’s statement was made after meeting Prabowo at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.

‘Tomorrow he is taking me to Krui, Lampung Barat. Do you want to come? It’s a hospital inauguration,’ Budi said while leaving the palace.

Budi reported on the progress of several programmes during the meeting. These included the Free Health Check-up programme (CKG), tuberculosis (TB) management, and the acceleration of the construction of 66 hospitals in frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged (3T) regions.

‘He gave three quick wins, so he requested an update. The first is the free health check-up. The second is TB, and the third is the 66 hospitals, 20 of which have now been completed and 12 are already operational. So he said, ’Alright, I want to see it.’ So perhaps the plan is that he wants to visit,’ he explained.

It is known that Budi met with Prabowo at Merdeka Palace today. Besides Budi, other figures who met Prabowo included DEN Chairman Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and DEN member and former Finance Minister Chatib Basri, DEN Executive Secretary Septian Hario Seto, and DEN member Firman Hidayat.
