Jakarta (ANTARA) - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has stated that he will undertake a reciprocal state visit to Belarus as a follow-up to the strengthening of bilateral relations, marked by the launch of the Indonesia–Belarus Cooperation Roadmap 2026–2030.

“I will certainly reciprocate this visit,” said Prabowo during a joint press statement with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday.

Prabowo expressed his appreciation for Lukashenko’s visit to Indonesia, noting that it was the Belarusian President’s second visit to the country.

He also recalled the warm reception he received during his visit to Minsk last year, assessing that the relationship between Indonesia and Belarus continues to develop on the basis of mutual respect and mutual benefit.

During the meeting, the two leaders launched the Roadmap for Strengthening Indonesia–Belarus Cooperation 2026–2030, serving as a framework for the development of bilateral relations over the next five years.

The roadmap encompasses the strengthening of cooperation in various strategic sectors, including modern agriculture, industry, trade, food security, science and technology, as well as human resource development.
