Prabowo to Receive Visits from Jokowi and SBY at the Palace This Afternoon

President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to receive former President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Saturday, 21 March 2026. This visit represents a silaturahmi as well as a halal bihalal on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. “Yes, there is information that we just received regarding the presence of President SBY and President Jokowi,” said State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi to reporters at the Presidential Palace Complex in Central Jakarta. However, Prasetyo has not yet explained exactly when SBY and Jokowi will arrive. “The exact time, we will confirm again later. It is planned, insha’Allah, this afternoon,” he stated. When asked if former President Megawati Soekarnoputri would also attend, Prasetyo said there is no further information yet. “For now, no, for today’s information. But as we already know, a few days ago there was also a silaturahmi meeting between President Megawati Soekarnoputri and Mr Prabowo Subianto at Merdeka Palace,” Prasetyo concluded.
