Prabowo to Receive Thai PM at Merdeka Palace This Afternoon

President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to receive the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Excellency Anutin Charnvirakul, today. The official welcoming ceremony will be held at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

“Yes, this afternoon Thai PM Anutin will come to Jakarta and will be received by President Prabowo at Merdeka Palace,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya on Monday (3/8/2026).

Teddy said the state visit would take place at 4.30pm WIB (Western Indonesia Time).

“(Receiving the state guest) at 4.30pm WIB,” he said.

As is known, PM Anutin Charnvirakul is scheduled to make a state visit to Indonesia on 3–4 August. The Traffic Directorate of Jakarta Metropolitan Police is preparing temporary traffic engineering along several protocol roads in Jakarta during the visit.

The information was conveyed via the official Instagram account of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Management Centre (TMC) on Monday (3/7). The TMC explained that officers would provide escort services and manage traffic along several roads on the route of the state guest’s motorcade. The arrangements are being made to ensure the smooth running of the state agenda and as a mark of respect for the visiting dignitary.

The roads potentially affected by the traffic arrangements include:

• Halim Perdanakusuma Road

• MT Haryono Road

• Jenderal Sudirman Road

• MH Thamrin Road

• Medan Merdeka Barat Road

• Gatot Subroto Road

• Gerbang Pemuda Road

• Asia Afrika Road

• Sisingamangaraja Road

• Trunojoyo Road
