Prabowo to Receive Credentials from 17 New Ambassadors Next Week

President Prabowo Subianto will receive letters of credence from 17 prospective ambassadors of friendly nations next week. The agenda was announced by State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, who stated that the credential presentation ceremony will take place at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on the same day as the inauguration of other state officials. “For effectiveness, we plan to hold the ambassador’s credential presentation on the same day. The inauguration forum is, of course, different,” Prasetyo told reporters at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Thursday evening. “The inauguration of state officials alongside the presentation of credentials from ambassadors of friendly nations,” he added. President Prabowo last received letters of credence from eight ambassadors of friendly nations in November 2025.
