Prabowo to Receive Belarus President Lukashenko at Palace Tomorrow

President Prabowo Subianto will receive Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko for a state visit at the palace tomorrow. The plan for the state visit was discussed during a meeting between Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono and Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov in Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to a written statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two foreign ministers discussed preparations for the state visit, including cooperation in the fields of economy, agriculture, and food security. The visit will also mark the launch of the Road Map for Bilateral Cooperation 2026-2030, which is expected to serve as a framework for encouraging concrete and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations.

During their meeting, the two ministers also exchanged views on regional and global issues of common concern. Indonesia and Belarus previously strengthened their economic ties when Indonesia signed a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union in December 2025, with Belarus being a key member of the union.
