Prabowo to Place Special Envoys at Each State-Owned Enterprise: "It is the Nation's Lifeblood"

JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto has stated that he will place special envoys at each state-owned enterprise (BUMN).

Prabowo described SOEs as the nation’s lifeblood, asserting they require close monitoring and oversight.

He made these remarks while attending the first-anniversary celebration of Danantara at Wisma Danantara in Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

Prabowo stated that if this lifeblood continues to leak, Indonesia will face serious difficulties. However, he expressed confidence that Indonesia has a strong and bright future ahead.

“We are united, we are harmonious, we work hard. Thank you for that direction of mine. Once again, my appreciation to the achievements of all of you. All ministers who support, all supervisors who support, my appreciation to you,” he added.

He thanked all ministers and supervisors for their support in these efforts.
