“I understand that the PKH Task Force is not one that is currently liked. Many people don’t like you. Yes, those bandit robbers don’t like you. So it’s up to you: are you afraid of them, or do you defend the people? It depends on you,” said Prabowo at the Attorney General’s Office building in South Jakarta, on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

Prabowo appreciated the achievements of the PKH Task Force so far. Nevertheless, he assessed that these accomplishments represent only a small portion of the state’s potential wealth that still needs to be salvaged.

“But I see your achievements. Four times I have been invited on behalf of the people, and you have delivered. Whereas this is just a glimpse of the wealth we have managed to save. The struggle is still tough. There are still hundreds of trillions, even thousands of trillions, that we must save,” he stated.

According to Prabowo, there are still hundreds to thousands of trillions of rupiah in state wealth that must be secured. He emphasised that these efforts are not merely about seeking political popularity, but for the survival of the Indonesian people.

“This is not a matter of want or not want. This is not about us seeking popularity, no. This is not about the Prabowo Government being populist, no. This is a matter of survival. 287 million Indonesian people cannot live well, cannot live prosperously if their wealth is taken every day, every week, every month,” he said.

Prabowo also touched on the results of Indonesia’s natural resource exports, which he deemed not yet providing optimal benefits to the country. He cited commodities such as palm oil, coal, tin, and gold as examples.

“Our palm oil is exported, but the export proceeds are not kept in Indonesia. Our coal is sold and exported, but the export proceeds are not kept in Indonesia. The sale of tin, the sale of gold—all the data is there, the facts are there,” he remarked.

Prabowo assured that the government will continue to take firm steps in law enforcement and the recovery of state wealth. He is optimistic that Indonesia will rise stronger in the days ahead.

“The struggle is heavy, but we carry it out boldly, optimistically, and progressively. And I believe that in the coming days, we will continue to provide evidence to the people and report to the people the steps we take. We will take firm steps,” he said.

“It was conveyed earlier that there is no other choice; we must enforce the law. We must convince that the state is present, and the state will continue to be present, and the Unitary Republic of Indonesia will be strong, the Unitary Republic of Indonesia will rise even greater. That is my conviction. My conviction. The facts and data are with us, brothers and sisters,” Prabowo continued.

Furthermore, Prabowo asked the PKH Task Force ranks not to fear threats, insults, or slanders. He urged the PKH Task Force not to fear defending the truth until their last breath.

“Don’t be afraid of threats, don’t be afraid of insults, don’t be afraid of slanders. We are slandered, we are insulted, we are mocked because we are feared. We are feared because we uphold the truth and justice, brothers and sisters. Those who defend truth and justice are noble. Even if we fall, don’t ever be afraid to fall because that is the only certainty in this world. We will surely be called by the Almighty; it’s just a matter of when,” he stated.
