Prabowo to Lead Pancasila Day Ceremony at Foreign Ministry This Morning

President Prabowo Subianto will lead the Pancasila Day commemoration ceremony on Monday, 1 June 2026. He will serve as the reviewing officer for the event held at the Pancasila Building grounds, Jalan Taman Pejambon, Central Jakarta. Yudian Wahyudi, head of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), stated that the national Pancasila Day ceremony led by Prabowo will commence precisely at 10:00 AM WIB. ‘The President of the Republic of Indonesia will attend in person and serve as the reviewing officer,’ Yudian said during a press conference at the BPIP office in Jakarta on Friday, 29 May 2026. As planned, the ceremony will also be held online, allowing the public to participate from their respective locations. In addition to Prabowo, BPIP has invited Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, members of the Red and White Cabinet, as well as former presidents and vice-presidents. A lying-in-state ceremony will be held prior to burial at Kalibata Heroes’ Cemetery in South Jakarta. ‘Insha Allah, that is the plan,’ said State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi on Monday morning, 1 June 2026.
