President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to directly lead the peak ceremony for the 80th Bhayangkara Day anniversary, held at the Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Training Centre in Cikeas, Bogor Regency, on Wednesday, 1 July 2026. Unlike previous years, which were synonymous with the National Monument (Monas) area, this year’s commemoration is centred at the Brimob education complex. Besides President Prabowo, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is also scheduled to attend, along with ministry and agency officials, stakeholders, invited guests, and various community elements who will participate in the ceremony and parade. The Head of the Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, stated that the President would act as the inspecting officer for the Bhayangkara Corps’ anniversary commemoration. Isir explained that the relocation of the venue from Monas to the Brimob Training Centre in Cikeas carries a specific meaning. The Police wish to show the public that every officer is shaped through a process of education and training before being deployed to serve the community. The peak celebration will feature a series of activities, including a ceremony, parade and defile, the awarding of honours, displays of personnel capabilities, and a thanksgiving event. The public will also be treated to an exhibition of the Police’s main and special equipment, which are domestically produced. On this occasion, the Police will also distribute social assistance to the community. A total of 9,000 participants are confirmed to be involved in the ceremony, comprising Police personnel, Indonesian Military personnel, and various community elements.
