Prabowo to Indonesians: Believe Me, Our Money Will Be Sufficient Soon!

President Prabowo Subianto has assured that government funds will be sufficient to continue development in Indonesia. He made this statement after attending the fourth event for the Handover of Administrative Fines and Forest Area Land by the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) for the fourth time. From the total performance of Satgas PKH, he mentioned that the government has obtained fresh funds amounting to Rp 40 trillion for carrying out development and infrastructure repairs. “Believe me, soon our money will be enough. In fact, with just this allocation, we can already do a lot,” said Prabowo at the Attorney General’s Office, Jakarta, on Wednesday (13/5/2026). Next month alone, he said, the government has received indications of receiving additional funds from the performance of Satgas PKH worth more than Rp 10 trillion. This does not yet include an additional Rp 39 trillion in state funds recovered from corruptors through the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK). “If next month, truly Rp 10 trillion enters from Satgas, plus Rp 39 trillion from PPATK, that means Rp 49 trillion. That means we can easily repair all community health centres, schools that have not yet been repaired can be fixed immediately. In last year’s state budget, we repaired 17,000 schools. This year, we are repairing 70,000 (schools),” he explained.
