Prabowo to Inaugurate Two Officials This Afternoon, Sudaryono Appointed Head of BGN

President Prabowo Subianto will inaugurate two state officials at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/7/2026) at 15:00 WIB. The news was conveyed by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi during a press conference this afternoon. The first official is Vice Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono. He will be inaugurated as the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), replacing Nanik Sudaryati Deyang who resigned due to health reasons. “The President has decided that the replacement for the Head of BGN is Mr. Sudaryono, who currently serves as Vice Minister of Agriculture,” said Prasetyo. The second official is a leader for a Republic of Indonesia university institution. According to Prasetyo, this appointment aligns with Prabowo’s desire to strengthen Indonesia’s educational institutions to prepare future leaders of the nation, both within the state civil apparatus and state universities. “So there are two officials who will be inaugurated,” he stated.
