Prabowo to Inaugurate New Heads of National Nutrition Agency and Presidential Special Advisor This Afternoon

President Prabowo Subianto will inaugurate the new leadership of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) and the Presidential Special Advisor for Employment at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, on Monday afternoon (8/6/2026). The inauguration plan was announced by the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, to journalists at the Senayan Parliamentary Complex, Central Jakarta.

“Among President Prabowo’s agendas today is the planned inauguration of the leadership of the National Nutrition Agency, following the President’s recent decision to change the agency’s leadership,” said Prasetyas.

“Additionally, there will be the inauguration of an official who will assist him in the government. This swearing-in process will take place alongside the National Nutrition Agency leadership, involving Mr Said Iqbal, who will be tasked with assisting the President regarding labour issues and worker welfare,” he continued.

Notably, the three new leaders of the National Nutrition Agency are Nanik S. Deyang as Head, and two Deputy Heads, Agustina Arumsari and Retired Major General TNI Trenggono.

Regarding Said Iqbal, Prasetyo stated that his appointment as Presidential Advisor reflects Prabowo’s commitment, since his inauguration, to continuously seek formulas to ensure that labour issues and worker welfare remain a priority for the government.
